We are currently seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer for our client located in San Jose, CA!

The successful candidate will be responsible for from filed application engineering, customer support to after-sales product support to clients in the semiconductor industry.

【Responsibilities and Duties】
・Responsible for understanding the technical requirements of customers as they relate to RF products.
・Resolve technical and operational issues as required to ensure succesful operation of the product.
・Work closely with Engineering to develop initial prototype and refine them to gain customer acceptance;
・Get information on new opportunities from technical departments at customers.
・Participate in the finalization of documentation required to ensure proper production of volume products based on optimizations done in the development process.
・Communicate closely with other departments, including Engineering, sales, quality and production.
・Act as the technical face to the customer for all pre-sales activities for RF products.
・Review and communicate feedback for a RF products that minimize hardware configurations and maximizes customer options through designs that emphasize commonality and modularity.
・Take a project leadership role in cross-functional project teams to execute upon new product developments and CIP efforts for RF products for plasma applications.

|Job Requirements:||【Qualifications and Skills】
・Japanese Fluency is a big plus.
・B.S. or M.S. or equivalent in technical or scientific discipline
・Minimum of 2,3-8 years experience in an applications engineering role
・Background in High Power RF (radio frequency) technology is a must.
・Must have direct experience with Impedance Matching networks and RF Generators in semiconductor, solar, LCD or LED manufacturing equipment
・Background in plasma process development a big plus
・Experience working in complex/multi-disciplinary environment, e.g. Semiconductor, Flat-panel display or Thin-film solar industry
・Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits a must
・Excellent people skills. Must be comfortable dealing with demanding customers in technical and non-technical situations
・Self-starter and self-reliant, comfortable in non-structured environment
・An "organizer" and a "planner" with analytical thinking, methodical work attitude
・Good Team Player
・Excellent communication skills
・Ability to operate in a matrix management environment and accomplish goals through cooperation and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders
・Ability to understand and manage tradeoffs between cost, performance, and complexity relative to HW versus SW solutions.
・Knowledge of fieldbus protocols such as EtherCAT, DeviceNet, Serial, Analog.
・Demonstrated knowledge of reliability validation as it relates to RF and Match.
・Ability to use tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers to debug code down at the hardware level.
・Familiarity with semiconductor capital equipment strongly preferred.
