Utilize your knowledge and experience as Accounting Manager!

A company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Accounting Manager with 5 to 10 years accounting experience. Must speak, read and write in Japanese and English. Position works closely with Finance Director and responsibilities may include timely preparation of financial statements, closings and reporting, cash flow management, corporate tax/reporting and budgeting. Supervise Accounting/Finance team members. This is a full time position, exempt with excellent benefits including 401K.

Job Description: -Well-developed written and verbal communication skills in English
-Understanding of US GAAP compliance
-Exercise independent judgment and basic reasoning skills
-Work independently with minimal supervision and guidance
-Coordinate and complete multiple projects with oftentimes limited deadline dates
-Follow-up skills, proactive, detail-oriented and well organized
-Ability to make suggestions and recommendations in identifying and developing more efficient processes, correcting errors and efficient accounting procedures
-Possess strong automated accounting system and spreadsheet experience
-Ability to effectively apply accepted accounting practices and analyze complex accounting issues
-MS Office, Quickbooks
-Monthly, weekly and annual reconciliations. Maintain organized and systematic records of all accounts
-Create and maintain financial and accounting system reports
-Ensure tax reporting and year end closing is created and maintained accurately
-Complete all necessary tax forms on a monthly/annual basis
-Oversee and coordinate annual budget preparation and processing
-Cash flow management
-Special projects and creation of special reports, as requested
-Work with and assist outside auditors by providing explanations of supporting documents and procedures and providing additional data and information when requested
-Work closely with management and staff by fulfilling requests, resolving issues and/or providing requested information
-Take necessary steps to keep management apprised of issues requiring immediate attention and/or resolution
-Liaison to Headquarters office in Japan; communicate regularly with the office by providing required and/or requested reports and information
-May be required to travel occasionally domestically and internationally
Job Location: Los Angeles County, CA
Work hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Please ask)
Salary: $75,000 - 80,000 / Year
Salary Detail: 75-80K plus bonus, excellent benefits

Job Requirements: -Must speak, read and write Japanese language skill
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work and education experience with management experience
-5 to 10 years total Finance and/or Accounting experience
