Job Description: ■Prepare invoices and cash receipts, purchases, and cash disbursements in accounting system and verify transactions with supporting documents
■Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions
■Compile data and prepare a variety of reports
■Reconcile bank statements and associated research
■Reconcile GL accounts and develop adjusting entries
■Perform various customer account and GL account analysis
■Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies ? Investigates questionable data
■Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for management
■Utilize available internal and external software and hardware tools to maximize productivity while maintaining transaction integrity
■Other project work and phone coverage may be required
■Coordinate multiple accounting tasks with other departments
■Train and support accounting assistants
■Review and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting transactions. Back up fully duty of the accounting assistant
■Assumes other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Job Location: Irvine, CA
Work hours: 8am-5pm
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00/Hour (DOE)
Salary Detail: Non-Exempt Position
