No. JOBOT is a free site and will never require you to pay.

What can I do if I sign up?

If you sign up for JOBOT, you will be able to

Do I need to sign up to search for jobs on JOBOT?

No, it is not necessary. However, you will need to when you apply.

Can I apply when I am overseas?

How often are jobs updated?

We always keep JOBOT and job posting updated.

Can I browse/apply from my mobile phone?

It may take up to 4 weeks for screening. Some employers only contact successful applicants. We do not take any responsibility for that.

What fees would I have other than registration fee $20?

There are no other hidden fees. Only with registration fee $20, you can do job posting as many times as you want and your job ad will be placed as long as you want. If you wish, with upgrade fee $80 your job ad will be placed at the top of the website as HOTJOB for 30 days.

Can I ask applicants whether they are authorized to work in U.S?

Yes, you can.

What is demographic data of the users?

Relatively a large number of applicants are from the West as JOBOT was launched in Los Angeles. Yet, we are having more users form other areas such as the East, the Central and the South through tie-ups with U.S.FrontLine and LOCOT.

Can I select multiple areas for a job ad?

No, you can’t. If you wish to hire in multiple locations, you need to create job ads separately.

Can I post in English?

Yes, you can. It should help to create job ads in English or both in English and Japanese if you are seeking for bilinguals.

How do I edit my old job ad?

1. Log in to Employer account.
2. Click [Edit] then [下書き保存] after editing.
3. Click [Submit for review] then [Submit for review] again after making sure everything is correct.
Your job ad will be placed after we review.

Why do I only see old information after editing?

That should be because of cache memory. Please check again when it is posted. If you still have a problem, contact us.

How do I upload an image?

1. Log in to Employer account.
2. Click [Edit].
3. Click [Select Image].
4. Click [ファイルを選択] then select the picture you wish to upload.
5. Click [選択した画像をアップロード].
6. Click [Select] beneath the picture you wish to upload.
7. Click [下書き保存].
8. Click [Submit for review] then [Submit for review] again after making sure everything is correct.
Your job ad will be placed after we review.

How long does it take until my job ad is placed?

It may take up to 2 business days after we confirm the payment. If your ad is not placed after this period, please contact us.

Are there any tips for a smooth process? What if my job ad is rejected?

Did you change the job title? Did you upload one image at least? If your ad is rejected, we will send you a notification. Please double check and submit for review.

How can improve my job ad?

We recommend you to reexamine your job descriptions. The more information, the better.

How do I place my job ads at the top of the website?

With upgrade fee $80 your job ad will be placed at the top of the website as HOTJOB for 30 days.

How long does my job ad have a "NEW" icon?

For 2 weeks after your job posting.

How do I get noticed when someone applies?

We will send a notification to the email address, which you entered as registration. Also, you can set up to 4 email addresses on your editing page.

How can I delete my post?

Please contact us if you wish to delete. We recommend you to keep your ad if you continuously recruite.

What exactly do you check when reviewing?

We proofread as well as check if one image is uploaded at least.
